Rates April 2022
Unfortunately, although we have resisted doing so since 2016, we have made the difficult decision to increase our rates. This is effective as of 1st April 2022. With the costs of all overheads rising, the pressures of the last two years and the increasing skills and costs of our staff, we feel these new rates are fair and reflect the current UK economy.

First Hour Labour ~ First hour, or less, at site Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays) ~ 1x Electrician with or without first year apprentice ~ 42.00 + VAT
Additional hour Labour ~ 1 hour Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays) ~ 1x Electrician with or without first year apprentice ~ 36.00 + VAT
Hour Labour Junior apprentice ~ 1 hour Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays) ~ 1x Junior electrical apprentice ~ 7.00 + VAT
Hour Labour Senior apprentice ~ 1 hour Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays) ~ 1x Senior electrical apprentice ~ 17.00 + VAT
Hour OOH ~ 1 hour out of hours, bank holiday or weekend urgent call out ~ 1x Electrician ~ 84.00 + VAT
Minor Works Certificate ~ Charge for administration of certificate only (carrying out test is included in Labour charge) ~ 16.00 + VAT
Installation Certificate ~ Charge for administration of certificate only (carrying out test is included in Labour charge). Includes notification of work to local authority via NICEIC and payment made by Ormerod Electrical Ltd ~ 24.00 + VAT
Condition Report Certificate ~ Charge for administration of certificate only (carrying out test is included in Labour charge) ~ 34.00 + VAT
Additional test results page and/ or distribution board ~ Each additional test results page and/ or distribution board tested may be charged ~ 6.00 + VAT
Portable appliance test certificate ~ Charge per page (discretionary) for administration of certificate only (carrying out test is included in Labour charge) ~ 10.00 + VAT per page
All time is charged from the moment of departure from the Ormerod Electrical office to arrival back at the Ormerod Electrical office at 26 North Street, Wiveliscombe, Somerset TA4 2LA.
